Phoenix Specialised Youth & Disability Services

About us

Who are we?

Phoenix Specialised Youth & Disability Services operate throughout Victoria 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year – our philosophy of care provision is based on providing opportunities to improve the lives of individuals and delivering the highest standard of care and support.

We have extensive experience providing personnel to residential care services who are, for whatever reason, unable to fill rostered shifts. We provide qualified staff who receive ongoing work force development and training including clinical supervision, reflective practice and contemporary training specifically geared towards working with children and young people residing in residential out of home care settings as well as people with disabilities in various settings.

Our experience in the community services sectors includes (but is not limited to)

For over 24 years we have provided specialist behavioural intervention support and youth and disability support workers. As well as highly specialised intensive support interventions to address significantly harmful or persistent behaviours of concern for participants in the community, custodial and other residential settings in Victoria, NSW and for the NT Department of Health.

Being able to provide agency staff and specialised support to a broad group of residential care service providers has enabled us to become acutely aware of the issues that can arise on a daily basis. Thanks to our wealth of experience we are able to work with providers to minimise such issues and yield the best possible results.
